Methodenlisting

Organismus Hyalella azteca
Dauer 144h, TNT equilibrium after 48h
Auswertung (Statistische Methode) Kinetics data was evaluated using one-compartment uptake and exponential decay models. Results of the uptake phase of the study were evaluated using the one-compartment uptake equation. Uptake rates were evaluated for differences by determining overlap of 95 percent confidence intervals. The results of the elimination phase of the study were evaluated by natural log transformation of the tissue concentration followed by linear regression analysis. Slopes and intercepts of lines were compared to the control treatments using t-test.
Futter Organisms were fed 3 ml of a liquefied yeast, trout chow, and rabbit food mixture every 2 days
Organismus Alter/Lebenstadium 10–12 days of age based on a length of 2.170.2 mm
Organismus Herkunft cultured at the Engineering Research and Development Center, Vicksburg, Missisippi, USA with organisms originally obtained from the USGS Biological Resources Division, Environmental and Contaminants Research Center (Columbia, Missouri, USA)
Sauerstoffgehalt >6mg/l
Testsubstanz, Reinheit 98%
Analytik der Testsubstanz Agilent 1100 HPLC (Palo Alto, California, USA) equipped with a diode-array detector using a modification of US EPA method 8330 (USEPA, 1997). Method detection limits for the analysis of water samples using this method ranged from 0.003 to 0.01 mg L1 for TNT
Konzentrationen, nominal 0.28 mg/l
