Methodenlisting

Auswertung (Statistische Methode) The 48- and 96-h LC50s and their 95% fiducial limits were determined by the probit method. In all cases, the goodness of fit probability of the data to the probit model was >0.05. When the probit method could not be used because the goodness of fit probability was <0.05 or there were less than two concentrations at which the percent mortality was between 0 and 100, the moving aierage angle method was used. Both the probit LC50s and their 95% fiducial and the moving 3 average determined angle by LC50s an EPAand statistical their 95%program confidence (Stephan, limits 1978)
Futter The diet consisted of a mixture of Cerophyl* (Cerophyl Laboratories, Inc., Kansas City, MO) and the green alga, a. ca~ricornutum, added to the daphnid culture to achieve final concentrations of 120 Ag Cerophyl*/mL and 6.7 x 1 0S f. iaaricornutum cells/mL Ceriodadaphnia were fed the diet up to the initiation of each test, at the beginning of the test and at the 24-h renewal period during the test
